How Meridian approaches website and information security, and how to report a concern.
Meridian Equity Partners uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to reduce risk to information and website systems. No security program can eliminate every risk.
How we approach security
Our security practices are designed around the sensitivity of information, the systems involved, and the services used to operate our business. Measures may include access controls, account protections, encrypted connections, service-provider controls, monitoring, backups, software updates, and procedures for responding to suspected security events.
Protecting information you send
Use only designated forms and approved channels when providing requested information. Do not send passwords, online-banking credentials, full payment-card details, or other credentials to Meridian. Do not send Social Security numbers or sensitive financial documents through a general contact form unless a secure workflow specifically requests them.
Third-party systems
Meridian uses third-party technology and service providers to support website hosting, communications, customer relationship management, analytics, forms, and other operations. Those providers maintain their own security programs and contractual terms. Security practices can therefore vary by system and service.
Suspicious communications
Be cautious with unexpected requests for credentials, payment, sensitive information, or urgent action. Verify questionable communications using contact information obtained independently from Meridian’s website. Meridian will not ask you to provide an online-banking password through a general website inquiry.
Reporting a security concern
If you believe you have identified a security issue involving Meridian’s website or communications, contact Meridian promptly with enough non-sensitive detail for us to investigate. Do not exploit a suspected vulnerability, access information that is not yours, disrupt services, or publicly disclose sensitive findings before there has been a reasonable opportunity to review them.

While Meridian takes security seriously, no website, network, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. This page describes our general approach and is not a warranty, certification, or representation that any particular control will prevent every incident.
